1 Octave Scale

Welcome to your first Technique exercise: crossing the thumb.

Crossing the thumb is an important part of playing scales on the piano.

A scale is any 8 notes played in succession.

As your right hand plays the scale, your thumb will need to cross under your middle finger to keep going.

Follow along with the moving fingers, keeping your hands relaxed and easy as you play.
