Up to this point, we've been playing scales in the key of C Major. Now it's time to branch out into three new keys!
Each new scale adds one sharp to the previous one.
G Major has one sharp, F.
D Major has two sharps, F and C.
A Major has three sharps, F, C and G.
These three new scales use the exact same fingering you mastered in the Two Octave Scale lesson.
To play the black keys smoothly, simply slide your hand in toward the piano slightly.
