Middle C on the Staf

Let us find where middle C is. This is the easiest note to recognize because of its placement on the staff. Notice how the note is off the staff: below the staff for the right hand, above the staff for the left hand.

For the exercises in the practice portion of this lesson, use the thumb for all middle C notes. Include the metronome in your practice to ensure that your tempo is steady.
